The House of People’s Representatives conducts the elimination of terrorism; It follows the peace agreement between the federal government and the TPLF in Pretoria, South Africa, about five months ago.

Regarding the removal of LTTE from terrorist status; Members of Parliament representing the ruling Prosperity Party are said to have held a discussion today, Tuesday, March 12.

It is said that this meeting, which was held at the Parliament meeting hall from three o’clock in the morning, lasted for five hours.

At the meeting, the Minister of Justice, Dr. Gideon Timothy, the National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister, Mr. Redwan Hussain; It was stated that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Tagese Thafo, and Mr. Tesfaye Beljge, the Government Accountant in the Parliament, were present. Mr. Redwan, who occupied most of the stage in the meeting; It is said that he explained to the members of parliament the benefits of TPLF’s departure from terrorism.
